The Bärnalm
Pinzgau traditions on 1,580 metres
When the Bärnalm was built special attention was paid to the Pinzgau traditional block-wood-style and has been family-owned since 1985. Since it was enlarged in 1997, the Bärnalm offers even more room for ski enthusiasts, winter hikers, walkers and many more.Whether in the cosy restaurant, snug fireplace room, or on the large sun terrace, the Pinzgau delicacies will be delivered right to your table when you are here with us. A warming Kaspressknödelsuppe (cheese dumpling soup), hearty Pinzgau Kasnockn (homemade cheese gnocchi), or the legendary Alm-Schmaus (Alm-feast) will strengthen you for your next downhill run. Sun worshippers can relax on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view with mulled wine, Jagatee (tea with alcohol) or hot chocolate.
