When the Bärnalm was built – family-owned since 1985 – great attention was paid to the Pinzgau tradition in the block-wood style. Since the expansion in 1997, the Bärnalm has offered even more space for ski enthusiasts, winter hikers, walkers and many more.
Whether in the rustic restaurant, in the cozy Kaminstüberl, or on the large sun terrace, with us the Pinzgau delicacies are brought directly to your table. A warming Kaspressknödelsuppe, hearty Pinzgauer Kasnockn or the legendary Alm-Schmaus strengthen you for the next descent. Sun-seekers can relax in a deckchair and enjoy the wonderful view with mulled wine, Jagatee or hot chocolate.
